Polaris Slingshot

My Contribution
Creative Development → Creative Direction → Production → Final Execution

With limited creative support, small budgets and aggressive timelines, I became the creative point person for the brand, leading work well beyond my title.

A unicorn of a vehicle, the Polaris Slingshot doesn't ask you to drive it. It dares you to.

Slingshot was an under-the-radar client at the agency, which meant I was the sole creative behind it. With few resources, small budgets and fast timelines, I stepped up to lead the work and become the creative point person for the brand.

I led photography and broadcast shoots, developed creative approaches, directed production, and designed brochure and print work. I worked closely with a small, scrappy team to move projects from brief to finished work quickly, often solving creative and production challenges as we went.

The experience pushed me to become a more complete creative: developing ideas, making decisive decisions, leading teams, directing shoots, working directly with clients, designing executions and taking responsibility for the final product.

It was less about having the resources to make great work and more about figuring out how to make great work with whatever we had.
